Good Sunday Morning to you!
It is a little after 3am and I am sitting here listening to what sounds like a galloping horse running through a large pasture. Actually it is WB heartbeat on a fetal monitor. We are at the hospital and Martha has been experiencing contractions for 12 hours or so.
We arrived at the hospital around 6:45 last night and discovered that Martha's blood pressure was elevated (until now it has always been low). They evaulated things and told us that we were staying overnight to be monitored. At about 10pm it was decided that things were progressing well and WB would make its debut today.
We both have been trying to sleep but it has not been easy (very little sleep for either one of us). The couch and chair that is available to me are both less that desireable. I can feel a major crash coming on later tonight (wow that is a long time from now). I am very hopeful that coffee, excitement and adrenaline will be enough to get through the day. We are being told that WB may be here by noon. Please note that this is subject to change without notice.
All in all we are doing well and look forward to what the day brings. Thanks for checking in and we will post details soon (maybe even a picture).
Blessings,
Bill, Martha and the galloping horse
